Alter Ego has been making strides in the scene with their non-conforming House & Techno parties. Having hosted parties at some of London’s best venues such as Ministry Of Sound, EGG London and Basing House. The brand is the brainchild of David Killick who plays under the alias ‘Chapter’.
Alter Ego was created from the initial idea of showcasing up and coming talent whilst not making the DJ’s ‘pay to play’ or sell a number of tickets to the event. Despite the growth of the brand Alter Ego still prioritise placing emerging talent on to their line-ups. After rebranding from ‘FACT’ to ‘Alter Ego’ the event and brand has grown at an astronomical rate, gaining a credible reputation for the vibes they bring to their parties.
They pride themselves on their events being about provoking thoughts, originality and not conforming to the current trends and it shows through their selection of DJ’s.
Speaking of selection of DJ’s, Alter Ego has a collective of residents who have their own unique styles creating journeys and stories through underground Tech House and Techno with minimal and melodic twists. With all 5 residents being technically meticulous, creative and hungry to succeed they are a force to be reckoned with and are tipped for huge things in months to come.

Alter Ego’s headline artists have also consisted of ‘No Excuse Records’ boss Emery Warman, PAX and Riaz Dhanani along with a whole host of big names to be announced this summer and much more in store as the brand moves forward.
Along with their usual Basing House schedule, Alter Ego is heading to Ibiza whilst working on collaboration with a huge UK label. The future of Alter Ego is looking very bright and we’re looking forward to seeing what they do next.
